A few months ago, I was traveling for work and I forgot my entire garment bag at home. It was a nightmare. You can read more about it here. Everything worked out well in the end and I emerged with a very comfortable women’s navy suit. Yay.
I narrowly survived this harrowing ordeal thanks to a few stores that came in handy when I was in need. Express was one of those stores. I happened to find a comfortable women’s navy suit that fit right off the rack. That never happens to me! Unfortunately, the pencil skirt that I bought is no longer available; however, the blazer is still online and there are a few different pants options.
What I Love About This Suit
This suit is comfortable and the fabric is incredibly soft. Some of my suits are stiff and start to feel like a straightjacket towards the end of a long day. This suit is nothing like that. It has a little give which made it easy for all-day wear.
What I Don’t Love
I wouldn’t recommend relying on this suit as an important staple item in your closet. The cutaway blazer is feminine and unique, but just isn’t the kind I would wear to court or to an important interview. It is a great suit to have for everyday wear (if you wear suits to work) or for conferences and networking events. Give it a try and let me know if you like it!
