I often fail to add enough color to my wardrobe. To answer this problem, the below dress was the perfect addition to my closet.
Love: The collar and cuffs were stiffer than I expected. . . and I liked it. One of my qualms with collared pieces is that there are times the collar is not stiff enough and folds over or loses shape when the garment moves. This collar isn’t going anywhere, nor are the cuffs.
I also appreciate that the fabric used for the body of the dress was soft and comfortable. The bottom of the dress was also hemmed properly (aka not with a rigid straight stitch), so walking in the dress was comfortable and I could extend my legs without popping a stitch and ruining the hem.
Don’t Love: The fabric used for the body of the dress (I believe a synthetic polyester of some sort) is very delicate. It is soft–which is great–but it may pill quickly without proper care of the garment. Make sure to hand wash rather than machine wash and use this product to take care of any pilling you encounter. It may not ever happen, but taking extra steps to prevent it won’t hurt.

Where did you get the dress from? I love your outfits but not sure where to buy??
Hey! It is available here: https://thedesktoduskcompany.com/collections/business-wear-desk/products/wendy-pencil-collared-dress.
I love your “flesh” colored high heels! I use that tactic as well, mainly because I’m so short. Can you please share if there is a trick to finding a color matching your skin with your shoe. Is there a certain shoe brand you use? Is there a particular store you buy them from? Are you matching your bare leg or your panty hose (I was a Tom boy with scarred legs, so I wear a shade darker sometimes) color? LOL! Actually, after I read my comment over I probably sound a little anal, but anyway, I’m just looking for some direction…
Hey Ona! Great question. Try searching for the “Rebecca Allen” brand. She has pumps in a broad range of shades, which makes it easier to find a close match.
