Yes, it is. This is not a question of whether you should wear a double-breasted blazer, but when. Here are a few tips on where to get one, how to wear it, and why you need one.
Why you need one:
I like the formal look of the double-breasted blazer. The structured shoulder, the wide front of the jacket, it all contributes to a unique and edgy look. In a sea full of regular one- or two-button blazers, the double-breasted blazer is a colorful peacock that stands out for all the right reasons.
Where to find it:
I got the one at the bottom of this article from H&M, but they’re everywhere nowadays. Try the ones below:

Blazer: ASOS, here currently on sale for $40.

Blazer: ASOS, here $87.

Blazer: Treasure & Bond, marked down here for $59.40.

Blazer: Topshop, here$75.
How to style it:
I tried this same look with a pencil skirt and I looked far too top-heavy. If your body is more pear-shaped or closer to an hourglass figure, a skirt may work with a double-breasted blazer. If you’re like me, though, it’ll make you look like an upside-down triangle. If you have an athletic shape or wider shoulders, stick with slacks on the bottom. This will keep you from looking too top-heavy, especially if your blazer has shoulder pads like mine.
I added a flirty, colorful, feminine necklace to this outfit to keep it from looking too drab or masculine. I think it worked well!
Try this look and let me know how it goes! I love getting messages from you guys, so feel free to reach out here.
